Our Value Mahogany and Maple Chess Board balances the need of a functional and attractive chess board with cost and quality to create our most affordably priced wood chess board. The color of mahogany wood is an excellent choice for contrasting with ebony or black chess pieces and rosewood chess pieces compliment the warm orange-brown tones very nicely. This is an inlaid chess board with real mahogany and maple veneer with a wide black delimiter inlay accenting the playing squares. We also have a matching mahogany chess box for this chess board that can be purchased separately (under Chess Boxes).
