This is our Macassar and Maple Standard Chess Board with some very minor imperfections in the wood and finish. We are offering this chess board at half off and you may not even notice the imperfections while you play. The black and brown striped grain pattern of the Macassar ebony is an excellent choice for contrasting with ebony or black chess pieces. This is an inlaid chess board with ebony and maple veneer with a maple delimiter inlay accenting the playing squares. It's both a beautiful and larges chess board for the price!
