This beautiful chess case has a macassar and maple chess board with a black stained molded wood case. The chess board has 1.625" squares and which is just right for 2.75" to 3.25" chess sets. Each side has a large drawer for storing chess pieces when you want them put away. The chess board on has a raised frame around it to keep pieces from falling off when your playing. A beautiful case and tremendous value for under $100!
