The pieces are tournament size with a 3.75" king and 2 spare queens for included for pawn promotion. The vinyl rollup chess board has 2.25" squares and alphanumeric notation on the sides to help identify the squares and moves during play. The chess bag has a zipper to keep it closed and is made from heavy canvas - it fits the pieces perfectly. The perfect chess set package for the classroom and tournaments!
