The knight is beautifully sculpted with intricate detail found only on the very finest chess sets. This triple weighted chess set has a 3 7/8" king and an extra wide base that measures 1 3/4". The heavy weighting in the base makes a low center of gravity giving pieces a great feel and stability. The ProTourney continues to be a favorite for club players.
Our Deluxe Chess Bag is made from high quality nylon that is far superior to canvas that is most often used on other chess bags. It is more durable, repels water, stays cleaner, and simply looks nicer than canvas bags. The bag has two zipper pockets inside for chess pieces, a zipper pocket on the outside, Velcro straps for restraining a rollup a chess board, pockets for score books, padded straps for holding a chess clock, pencil holders, and clear window for inserting an ID tag.
Our vinyl rollup chess board unrolls flatter than any other vinyl board available. It has a soft, matte finish to eliminate glare - a nice feature for the tournament player. The board measures 19.5" square and has 2.25" squares that will fit any tournament size chess set.
Our Deluxe Scorebook is printed - not a cheap photo copy book. It has 50 pages for recording 50 games up to 100 moves per game. Each page has a place for recording the players names, event, date, ratings, tournament positions and one board diagram. A game summary is printed on the outside covers along with algebraic and common short hand notation.
