This is our lowest priced tournament size chess set and board package. It includes our single weighted Value Club Plastic Chess Set with a 3.75" king and our Value Vinyl Rollup Chess Board with 2 1/4" squares. Chess pieces are made from a durable, glossy plastic which makes a nice contrast against the black and buff chess board. Pieces have green felt paper pads and spare queens are included! Pieces come packaged in heavy zip lock bags. A great package for tournaments and classrooms looking for a tournament size chess set and board at the lowest possible price!

This is the second time that we have ordered from The Chess Store. This set makes for the perfect beginning strategy classes! The children love the roll up boards & the materials are durable for their use. The only thing that I would change would be to have a more durable zipper on the bag. It also helps to have EXCELLENT customer service.

This is exactly what you are expecting it should be for anyone that has played club or tournament chess. Nothing out of the ordinary, two queens, nice looking pieces, lightweight, but durable. Your best play is to buy in bulk, but if you just need one, this is still as good a value for this item on a new set as I could find.
