Pieces are made of cast poly-stone, an extremely hard stone-like material and have an amazing level of intricate detail. Each piece is carefully hand painted with realistic colors - even the tiniest details are captured. Our Value Walnut and Maple Chess Board is inlaid with walnut and maple veneers and has a black inlay delimiter separating the squares and frame. The board is finished in a satin polyurethane finish. Together, the pieces and board create a beautiful presentation any chess player would love to display in their home or office!
