Pieces are made of cast polystone, an extremely hard stone-like material. Pieces have an amazing level of intricate detail and are colorfully hand painted. Our Civil War Chess Board is made from high quality wood veneers. The stain enhances the wood grain creating beautiful and unique patterns.
