The other pieces are equally impressive with elegant profiles beautifully turned and carved to perfection.

This club size chess set with a 4.4" king is one of our two signature sets in the Staunton by Design collection. You will recognize it in the logo. The knights are carved by the most skilled carvers in the world and the replication from piece to piece is remarkable. The hand carved detail of the features blend together to create a knight with a unique character unlike any other.

You may want to consider adding our Deluxe Chess Coffer. This two-tray coffer is extra large and designed specifically for our club size chess sets like the Saint John. Inside you will find individual compartments to hold each piece and the entire coffer is lined with a beautiful thick green baize to protect the pieces when they are being stored. When you open the lid you will find a beautifully polished gold, laser engraved plaque with our Staunton by Design logo.
