This chess set package includes one of our most affordable and popular chess sets matched with a beautiful walnut chess and backgammon case! Our German Staunton chess set with its old German Knight design is one of our original chess sets and continues to be extremely popular, especially in tournament chess. As with most of our chess sets, 2 extra queens are included. The case is made from solid walnut and other wood veneers and has a beautiful molded design. The chess board flips over for backgammon on the other side. The chess and backgammon board have a raised frame that will keep pieces from falling off. Inside there is plenty of room for storing chess pieces, backgammon chips, dice, and dice cups.
