The Chess Store deluxe scorebook is an excellent choice for tournaments, club play or even your informal games for tracking moves and outcome for later study. This is a high-quality scorebook that is professionally printed (not a cheap photo copied book) with heavy bright-white card stock covers. There are 50 pages for recording 50 games and up to 100 moves per game. Each page has a place for recording important information such as players names, event, date, ratings, tournament positions and one board diagram. A game summary is printed on the outside covers along with algebraic and common short hand notation for those just learning! Measures 8.5 by 5.5.

It's the little things that make this scorebook so good. Compared to a standard chess scorebook: the paper is heavier, the paper color is more creamy (less stark white), the cover is heavier (making it easier to write on), the spiral is heavier and crimped so it doesn't unravel, and the chessboard image on the back page is useful for graphically showing a position.
