complete chess set package from Manopoulos includes their Hercules chess set in copper and faux blue oxidized copper,
brass chess board, and an attractive wood case that holds both chess pieces and
board. Chess pieces are based on ancient Greek mythological gods, heroes, and
creatures including Zeus, Athena, Arish, and Centaur. A drawn-bow Hercules is
the pawn. The dark squares on the chess board are painted in a multi-color brown
enamel and the entire board is lacquered to prevent tarnishing. The wood case
looks like a real antique with its old, rustic look. A felt-lined plastic tray
inside has individual compartments for storing chess pieces while the chess
