This beautiful copper and faux blue oxidized copper chess set from Manopoulos is based on Poseidon the god of the sea along with other ancient Greek goddesses, hero's, and creatures. Poseidon of Melos is the king and Athena the queen. The dark squares on the chess board are painted in a multi-color brown enamel and the entire board is lacquered to prevent tarnishing. A gorgeous chess set that will look beautiful in your home or office.
