From the hand carved knights to the polished lacquer finish, you will be impressed with superb craftsmanship that goes into making each Checkmate chess set. The king stands 4" tall and has a base diameter of 1.625".Pieces are double weighted, cushioned with thick green billiard cloth pads, and come packaged in The Chess Store black and gold foil box. We recommend a chess board with 2.25" squares.
