This chess set package includes our Royal Guard Staunton chess set in ebonized boxwood and boxwood matched with our Macassar Chess Case! Our Royal Guard is designed for the rigors of everyday play and especially a game of blitz. It has a unique and attractive knight with only the basic features but with a new look players will like and enjoy. Pieces have green billiard cloth pads for a soft feel when moving and are properly weighted for stability on the chess board. The chess case is made from solid wood and wood veneers and has two large drawers, one on each players side. The drawers will hold chess sets with a king base up to 1.5" diameter.
