Our exclusive Rogue Knight has a unique character with creative and slightly exaggerated features of that of a real horse that gives it a special look all its own. The king through pawn are purely traditional Staunton but with an extra tall rook which is becoming more and more popular in set design. The pieces have a matte finish so you don't get reflection like the glossy plastic and they are extra-heavy giving them exceptional stability on the chess board. These features combine to make the Rogue an excellent choice for any game whether it's a tournament match or a casual game at the coffe shop.

This set of plastic chess pieces is better than most sets availble. For example, I see alot of other sets with odd looking knights, or pawns that are too tall compared to the rooks, plastic mold lines that are too visible, pieces that are tilted, have unpleasant colors for the light men such as yellowish or orange or have other defects. I gave this set, which I have in black and camel, a 9 out of 10 because the pads on the bottom don't cover the base completely, but are a thick nice material ...
