This is a great set. I love the unique design and I also like the red and black color scheme. The design and feel of the pawns is particularly elegant and I like the non-standard knight and queen designs. The only thing I don't like is that the felt is very thin compared to other sets I have used. I use this set pretty much daily even though it is the cheapest set I own. It just makes my favorite game even more fun.

I ordered 5 sets of the Guardian shortly after they returned to stock. The cost per set was good and with the new costing in place its even a better deal. My visual examination revealed flash free mold lines and no mold shrinkage defects. From past experience these heavily weighted pieces can take a lot of club abuse and retain their good looks.
