Parker Staunton Chess Set Package in Burnt Boxwood - 3.75" King

This elegnant chess set pacakge from our Staunton by Design Collection comes with our Decorative Parker Staunton in burnt boxwood and boxwood with our Black & Ash Burl Deluxe Chess Board. The Parker offers a traditional Staunton chess set with a unique design and finish. It has a classic style with handsome knights that have the look and feel of the older Jaques designs. To create the black, chess pieces are actually burnt followed by the final carving and design work which creates a beautiful contrast in colors between the blackened areas and the natural golden wood colors underneath. Chess pieces are then finished in high gloss lacquer giving the chess pieces a glass-like finish. To this we add one of our most popular chess boards, our Black & Ash Burl Deluxe Chess Board. The black and golden color of the ash burl match perfectly with the black and amber color of the chess pieces. The chess board is finished in a glass-like, polyurethane finish that compliments the pieces as designed - perfectly. This package is one of our favorites and will be your's too!
