Egyptian Hand Painted Brass Chess Set

The perfect chess set for the Egyptologist! Imported from Italy, this beautiful and impressive chess set from Italfama is made of solid brass with the white chess pieces nickel plated. Chess pieces are represented by figures and artifacts from ancient Egypt culture including Pharaoh, Obelisk, and the Great Sphinx of Giza. This is a very large chess set with a king that is 5" tall and with a base of 1 1/2" square on all of the pieces. The chess set weighs an impressive 15 pounds. We recommmend a chess board with 2 3/8" to 2 1/2" squares (not included). One of Italfama's most impressive chess sets.
