| When I ordered this I thought I had scored a real find: 2.7oz 4.125" King for $20! Alas, the reality is that the King is only 2.3oz. Still a great set, and identical to the one I've gotten from other suppliers around this price point, but the typo in the description is unfortunate. Customer support was very nice when I contacted them, and they're intended to fix the typo. Great set, though. Substantial. A real best buy. Careful of the pointy queens, though. |

| For $20, this set is a steal. My set came with a few minor cosmetic imperfections (a few little bits of plastic flashing that I trimmed off with an Exacto knife), but these were truly minor. The pieces themselves are elegantly designed and the extra weight makes them a true joy to play with. You would probably have to pay two to three times this amount to get a set that was 1% better. |

I was amazed at how nice the set was when i received it. Very sturdy set and NICELY weighted. | This set reminds me of those big wooden pieces that they used to play with on old fashioned and huge cardboard chessboards back in the old days in Eastern Europe.. The set has a very substantial feel and the quality is superlative given this price range. Pieces are a joy to look at and play with. |

| I have recently received two of the value triple weighted sets, one for myself and one for my adult son. The size and extra weight are a joy to play with, the bishops have very nice curvature other bishops do not, and the knights have excellent detail with ears that look good but are moulded in such a way that they will not break off.
