This is our lowest priced tournament size, 34 piece plastic chess set. Pieces are single weighted, have green felt paper pads, and come packaged in 2 heavy zip lock bags. Pieces are made from an attractive glossy plastic that is durable and will stand up to the rigors of classroom use. But we'll replace pieces for free if ever needed. This set includes 2 spare queens for pawn promotion. A terrific chess set for the beginner or tournaments needing large quantities at an affordable price.

When I bought the Black and White Tournament Chess Set I thought it would be smart to also get a spare set of pieces just in case of the off chance that the pieces may get lost or damaged and considering the price it was a good buy. I really like the design of the value club chess pieces and it doesn't hurt to have any extras. Great Buy!!!!
