| It's hard to say which was best the customer service or the chess set. Both are great! The chess pieces were exquisitly carved, something you would expect to find in a more expensive set. It's easy to see and feel the quality in each piece. The weight and balance make them comfortable to hold and move around the board. | After receiving a very nice 20" chessboard (with 2" borders - actual board size is 16") as a gift, I was on a mission to find the perfect pieces to fit it. Mission accomplished. This set it beautiful. It is perfectly sized for my board. The pieces are gorgeous, and have a very nice feel to them. | I, have been around the world a time or two, and I, must say, I have not seen a better 3.5 Staunton Chessmen. The Knights are the best I have seen, Handcrafted in India, home, and Mother of the game of chess. And being a artist, I look for quality workmen ship in the things I like. If you like a Chess Set you can show off, and play with, then this is it. for the money, you will not do better. |
