Mary Stuart Queen of Scotts Chess Set

Imported from Italy, Mary Stuart Queen of Scots is one our most popular chess sets from Italfama. Born during the Reformation, Queen Mary lived a controversial life during a time of religious turmoil when Protestantism and Catholicism fought for control. Linked to a plot to assassinate her cousin Queen Elizabeth I of England, she was eventually executed. This chess set is also available in a hand decorated version with features accentuated by hand painting.
