Grande Chess Set Staunton in Rosewood & Boxwood - 4" King

One of our new chess sets for 2005, the Grande Staunton is purely traditional with handsome features such as an extra wide profile and oversize collars. This not only makes for an amazingly attractive chess set but one that is excellent for play. Chess pieces are triple weighted have a broad base design that provides a rich feel with excellent balance. The knights are beautifully carved with an elegant shape and intricate detail. We recommend a chess board with 2 1/4 to 2 3/8 squares for this chess set.
