As you can see from our photo, the chess set and board is a perfect match and the black and golden colors creates a striking contrast. The Grande Staunton has an unusually robust but eloquent profile that makes room for extra weighting. The knights have a graceful design and are meticulously carved with intricate detail found only on the finest Staunton chess sets.
