This not only makes for an amazingly attractive chess set but one that is excellent for play. Chess pieces are triple weighted and have a broad base design that provides a rich feel with excellent balance. The knights are beautifully carved with an elegant shape and intricate detail. Just received my Ebony and Boxwood set and it's great! Been playing chess for 50+ years and always wanted a high quality traditional set. This was worth the wait. Excellent craftsmanship and quality.
