Large Poseidon Chess Set in Copper - 4.5" King

This beautiful copper plated chess set from Manopoulos is based on Poseidon the god of the sea along with other ancient Greek goddesses, hero's, and creatures. Poseidon of Melos is the king and Athena the queen. Chess pieces are hand-cast in solid zinc and then copper plated. The white pieces are highlighted with a blue paint to imitate the natural color of oxidized copper. It looks extremely sharp!
