Knights Chess Set in Brass & Nickel - 3 1/2 " King

This beautiful brass and nickel chess set from Manopoulos is based on the knights that lived, served, and fought during the Middle Ages. Chess pieces are hand-cast in solid zinc and then brass and nickel plated. Chess pieces are then lacquered to keep the lustrous finish from ever tarnishing. This chess set is also available in complete chess set package includes the Manopoulos chess board and a colorful cardboard case for storage.

Note: These are handmade chess pieces cast in zinc and then brass and nickel plated. Some minor porosity is inherent in this foundry process and may be visible through the brass and nickel plating. This adds to the unique character of these chess sets making each one a unique piece of art!
