I bought the 3.75" set in golden rosewood . The pieces have a nice wide base, are heavily weighted and a nice billiard cloth bottom and come with the extra queens which is great. The craftsmanship of the pieces is excellent. I have sets from other vendors, but this set is definitely of a much higher quality. I matched them with a walnut and maple board with 2 inch squares. If you're looking for a high quality wood chess set, without the huge price tag, this is the set to go with. Overall, the craftsmanship of these pieces is very good. One or two of the knights look a little uneven, but only if you look at them head on, but this isn't really a huge deal, I just thought i'd mention it. Now, all the pieces have a really nice billiard cloth bottom witch was a huge selling point for me. It's 100 times better than the paper or felt bottoms of most pieces. Also, they...
