This chess set package includes our Deluxe Staunton Chess Set in golden rosewood and boxwood matched with a beautiful walnut chess and backgammon case. As you can see from our photo, the golden rosewood and boxwood chess pieces match perfectly with the walnut and maple of the chess board. Our Deluxe Staunton chess set is nearly an exact replica of the Staunton design that was produced for many years by Checkmate International for the prestigious Jaques of London. One of our best chess sets for club and tournament play! As with most of our chess sets, 2 extra queens are included. The case is made from solid walnut and other wood veneers and has a beautiful molded design. The chess and backgammon board has a raised frame that will keep pieces from falling off. The chess board flips over for backgammon on the other side. Inside there's plenty of room for storing chess pieces, backgammon chips, dice, and dice cups. An unbeatable value at this price!
