The rich, warm colors of the rosewood chess pieces create a beautiful contrast against the lighter rosewood we used for the chess board. The rosewood chess box is the perfect compliment to this package and one of the few matching board and box combinations you will find! Our Deluxe Staunton is modeled after a design that was was once sold by the prestigious Jaques of London. The knight makes this chess set with its simplistic yet elegant design. The other pieces are of equal stature with an elegant broad base design that allows triple weighting. An excellent chess set for club tournament play.
