When I first saw this set what first attracted me to it was the knight and the bishop. I was hesitant about getting a larger set as I did not know if and how the aesthetics would differ from a smaller to a larger set. I have to say that I am very pleased with this set although I am not too crazy about felted bottom chess pieces. I would love to see this set with leather bottoms but in spite of that I am thinking about getting the larger set as I am very pleased with the set.

This is an excellent chess set. It is a very well crafted and made set, and the size is excellent as I don't have to reach as far across the table to move a piece as with a larger size set. Very nice!
