A miniature version of our Deluxe Staunton, this cute little chess set in premium rosewood and boxwood is one our favorites in this size. Our Deluxe Staunton from Checkmate International originates from the set they once produced for the prestigious Jaques of London. The pieces are nicely weighted for a chess set this size with the complete set weighing 1 1/2 pounds. Chess pieces have green billiard pads and spare queens come standard with this chess set. This size also makes for a practical travel and analysis chess set! We recommend a chess board with either 1 1/2" or 1 3/4" squares.
