Our Deluxe Staunton chess set is nearly an exact replica of the Staunton design that was produced for many years by Checkmate International for the prestigious Jaques of London. As with most of our chess sets, 2 extra queens are included. The case is made from solid walnut and other wood veneers and has a beautiful molded design. The chess and backgammon board has a raised frame that will keep pieces from falling off. The chess board flips over for backgammon on the other side.
