The box is lined with a soft black material to protect the pieces and includes a removable center divider so that you can separate the colors if you choose. Holds up to 3 3/4" chess sets with 4 queens. The best chess box available for the price!

This box is nicer than the photogragh depicts! It comes in a nice box (packed well) and the finish is fantastic. Ihold the pieces perfectly - PSPSBC. If your going all out out for a nice set, spring for this too to truly complete the fine set! The chess pieces PSPSBC (also fantastic) matched perfectly. Glad I used the chess store!
