The king features a unique, one of a kind finial, the queen has a coronet with sharp distinct points, and the oversize rook is nearly as tall as the knight giving this powerful piece the stature it deserves.
The king is 4.75" tall with a base of 1 7/8". The king weighs an impressive 4.3 ounces and the complete set weighs 5 pounds. Pieces have thick green billiard cloth for cushion and easy sliding across the chess board. As with most of our chess sets we include spare queens for pawn promotion. A chess board with 2 3/8" to 2 1/2" squares is the perfect size (not included) for these pieces.
