This beautiful chess case is perfect for both displaying and storing your chess set! The chess board is inlaid macassar ebony and elm root with the entire case finished in a beautiful high gloss polyurethane creating a glass-like finish. A drawer on each players side has 16 velvet lined compartments for safely storing chess pieces and will fit chess sets with kings up to 3 5/8" tall and with a base up to 1 1/2". Drawers have a decorative and unique brass ball latch adding to elegant look. Our best value in a large high quality chess case!
