Our elm root and bird's eye maple chess board combines two beautiful woods for a rich contrast of colors. The elm root has a variety of brown caramel colors and an interesting grain pattern. This is an inlaid wood board with rounded corners and a rounded edge. The wood is sealed in a polyurethane satin finish and comes packaged in a poly bag and cardboard box. Ebony chess pieces stand out beautifully against this board.! Squares are 45mm (~1.75") with an overall size of 450mm (~17.75") and 13mm thick (~.5").
