Where You Have Seen Our Chess Sets

It's always fun and exciting to get a call from a movie studio or a television series wanting to use one of our chess sets in a scene. Over the past eight years our chess sets have been in several movies, television series, commercials, and magazines. The award winning series House on Fox made a large purchase of chess sets and boards that were used in an episode that aired on May 15th, 2007. The episode, The Jerk, was was based on a 16-year-old chess prodigy suffering from intense head pain that came on after he attacked his opponent during a speed chess tournament.

In 2006 one of our brass chess sets appeared in the movie X-Men, The Last Stand. It was used in the final scene in which Magneto whom had lost his power to move metal objects, was playing chess in a park and was able to just barely make a metal chess piece quiver - a suspenseful ending to an action packed movie!

In 2003 the television series The West Wing purchased several chess sets, boards, and boxes for an episode titled Heartfield's Landing. In this episode the Prime Minister of India presented the President a gift of chess sets. The President started two different chess games with his staff, moving from room to room to make his moves, while at the same time dealing with a serious international matter. The following year The West Wing purchased another chess set and board that used as props in the White House furnishings.

In July of 2004 one of our chess sets appeared in a popular men's entertainment magazine in its product review section. The magazine was so happy with our first chess set they asked for another one the following year that appeared in the December issue.

You may have also seen our chess sets on the ships of major cruise lines, major hotel chains, resorts, and various commercials. Our clientele includes schools, universities, libraries, companies, court rooms, and even Academy Award winners. Most importantly, our clientele includes everyday people like you and us.
